No lamps. Just the afternoon through coloured glass.
In Solar Room, daylight is the moving element. Suspended planes of amber and rose glass cast slowly changing fields of color across stone, turning an ordinary afternoon into the room’s quiet event.
The approach
We studied the sun’s path before choosing a shape. The glass sits where it can catch direct light while keeping the reading and gathering areas comfortable, with the strongest color reserved for the edges of the room.
In the details
The setting stays deliberately simple. Pale walls, a stone bench, and the thickness of the glass are enough. As the light changes, the same materials make a different room.
